All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

    "rammer" and "cummings"

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

Might as well have a thread for the draft since the order will continue to grow as the playoffs move on. I'm going to try and do a mock draft, and I might do it as people get eliminated and they move into place. I've followed prospects fairly well this year, so have a fairly good idea what is going on.

Calgary Flames ... I mean really. No prospects and no pros, just rebuild already.

Because of their stupidity, they have potentially missed out on Hall, Eberle, RNH and Yakupov ... who just happen to have gone to their biggest rivals.

Flames wont die till Iginla and Kipper are gone and that is the major thing I think they need to do. They will never say rebuild while Iginla is there because they dont want him to not have a chance at a cup in Calgary and if they throw in the towel and say we are rebuilding, he basically has no shot at a cup.

They have very limited prospects, they have no cap space, and they don't know if they want to fail or push. Basically they are the west version of the leafs. The player they draft this year will not play for them next season unless he turns out to be a monster, so no help there. Craig Button's mock draft had Calgary getting Radek Faksa which is good since they need a strong centre, but as said, he is a year or more away from NHL ready.

Last years pick of Sven Bärtschi will be great for them, as the guy lit up the WHL this year, so they at least are getting some young help. But not enough to make a massive impact.

Defence heavy draft so far which was expected. Sick deal by the penguins.

Flip Forsberg falling harder than Brady Quinn. Thought he was the consensus #2 pick?

WHAT A PICK BY THE CAPS. Forsberg going to be a steal. Can gain a Defensemen with the 2nd 1st rounder.

The Pens really cleaned up. If they can turn the cap space that they gained into Zach Parise, they'll be overwhelming cup favorites.
