Great game last night, Beckham almost put away one of the best hat tricks ever a few times, and Portland made it interesting. Love when you the MLS surprises you like that.

Also, looks like we get Columbus games here in Detroit, so I've been watching a few of theirs lately. Soony Saad started against them for KC and Justin Meram did for Columbus, both went to Michigan. Saad's from right around my area, neither did much, but it was still cool to see.

Shitecaps trade Eric Hassli to Toronto for their 2014 1st round pick and an international roster spot through 2013.

Yeah that was a terrible game by the Union, absolutely no cohesion or intensity from them today which is very disappointing. They just don't have any size in their line-ups so they get hurt by crosses all the time, and can't get an effective cross of their own because their tallest player is 6'1.

There ya go KG. I figured it out. All your bouts have to do.is.play a team not in the MLS.

What will the score be tonight between the All Stars and The Chavs?

Benefits the MLS a lot more for them to win than Chelsea, nice result. (Despite that fluke of a winner )

Lol its all in perspective. Not quite the result I had in mind. Still though, to see where the MLS has come is great. Wondo is legit though.

It's obvious that the MLS is now a better competition then The Champions League.

#MLS Commissioner Don Garber says Toronto FC decided the Olof Mellberg deal wasn't in their best interest.

                          Ives Galarcep ‏@SoccerByIves
Interesting because multiple sources told me TFC had a 2.5 year, $1.5 million a year deal in place w/Mellberg, but MLS killed the deal.

                          Duane Rollins ‏@24thminute
For the record, CSN's sources are IN the #TFC front office and it's been confirmed by those VERY high. @thesoccerdon is lying.

I really fucking hate this league. I really do.

                            Mellberg would have been sick.

Going to the FC Dallas vs Timbers game on August 5th, in with the Army again. Had a lot of fun at the last match I went to (even if it was a relatively boring draw with TFC)

I saw the commish say live during halftime that TORONTO is the one who killed the deal. But it looks like the liar was lying.

So The Sounders had been linked to Joan Verdu who currently plays for Espanyol. They offered a $6 Million transfer. The club turned it down, and they thought they would renegotiate his contract at some point in the future. Turns out he had to force talks to even get a contract negotiation, and Espanyol FUCKED it up. He's rumored now to leave on a free next year, and wants to sign with the Sounders.
