Good to see another American in a cup final.

Not only that. But he has been incredibly good for them this year. He has made quite the name for himself.

Dont think its true, but theres a hefty rumor from Bild (who are very rarely wrong) that Mario is going to Bayern for 37 mil. We'll see.

Marseille is bringing back the 90s in the worst... the best* way. Denim kits!

Palace through to the Prem. Watford couldnt have played worse, and United new boy Zaha wins a clear pen in the 105th minute. Ian Holloway back in the prem, cant be too mad about that. Watford though, have to be super pissed, using the loan loophole and still missing out.

Also, Lazio and Roma played, and it was a bit a snoozer. But, there was this........................................

This year's Coppa Italia marked the first time the tournament has ended with a Rome derby and thus the first time both participants played the final in their home stadium (since the Stadio Olimpico is always the host site). Given the fact that was not just a match between the fiercest of intracity rivals, but one with a trophy on the line, local authorities anticipated an especially combustable atmosphere. Judging by the frightening array of crude weapons confiscated by police before the match, it seems the historic final between Roma and Lazio could've been ruined before it even began.
Of course, any Rome derby is bound to include a variety of violence of weaponry. This time, however, police confiscated garden tools, kitchen knives and hatchets all taped to sticks for maximum stabbing reach from ultras under the Ponte della Musica.
Psy, who performed his played-out hit "Gangnam Style" before the match to a chorus of boos, should be thankful those items were confiscated so they couldn't be thrown at him...

The match ended with a 1-0 win for Lazio, giving them their sixth Coppa Italia and first since 2009. Senad Lulic's goal in the 71st minute proved to be the difference and as a result, Lazio have earned a spot in the Europa League. Roma, who finished sixth in Serie A this season (one spot ahead of Lazio) will miss out.

                      How is it a loophole?

The owners of Udinese and Granada bought Watford. They then loaned 12 players between their two Italian clubs (10 from Udinese) to Watford. Loan restrictions are 5 total I think. But when loans are taken Internationally, they are considered permanent transfers. So they got a whole new team, a pretty decent one, but they still lost. And next year, the Football League has a;ready announce they plan to change the rule allowing that.

Of course he has. Now only if he ends up with United in a few season's time...

Can't see Steks being the next van der Saar.

HA! Well see how he does in the Prem first. Hopefully De Gea wont fuck off for quite some time. So this wont ever be an issue, unless of course, he does turn out to be the next Van der Saar....
