I've never gotten the impression that Lesnar was actually an MMA fan, nor that he is really friends with any other fighters. I'm obviously quite curious if he there of his own accord with some purpose, for the WWE, or at the UFC's request...
Dana White said he would be talking with Brock Lesnar later tonight. He said that people know the difference between pro wrestling and UFC and he would not be adverse to using Lesnar while he is also with the WWE.
I'm not sure why anybody would want to see Lesnar/Mir again. Lesnar has no chance to even be competitive with any of the top guys, and he would never come back to face a mid tier guy, so I have no idea who he could possibly fight at this point. Roy Nelson probably makes the most sense, or if you want a darkhorse, Fedor.
I can't stand Lesnar, so I hope he stays away from the game. Dana loves him because he seems to draw - likely from the WWE base. Lesnar is a shitty fighter. He doesn't like to get hit, his striking is garbage and his 4-3 UFC record should be 3-4 b/c Josh Rosenthal should've stopped the Carwin fight long before the end of the 1st round. Lesnar just wants in to see another payday. He'll talk about his improved game, he's refocused, etc. Then he'll get into a match with a heavy-handed fighter like Nelson, JDS or even Carwin again and get pounded.
Maddon & Friedman: Pissing off the AL East since 2008
Word going around is the meeting between White & Lesnar "did not go well".
Meltzer says if they talk about Lesnar being at UFC on RAW tonight and really pound it home, then it's probably Brock working his wrestling storyline of being an outsider who hates wrestling who only cares about fighting. If WWE doesnt mention it or casually blow it off tonight, then there might be something to Brock wanting to fight.
I don't think Brock wants any part of fighting anymore.
Season I: 10-6 (NFC North Champions)
Season II: 9-7 (NFC North Champions)
Season III: 13-3 (NFC Champions)
Season IV: 11-5 (NFC North Champions)
Season V: 2-1
Brock played Dana IMO. All an idea from WWE to work the UFC and the internet crowd (a stupid reason). Wouldn't be surprised if they use it as part of their storyline on RAW.
