Spain squad was announced today, and Torres made it. Really surprised there was no place for Soldado from Valencia as he was a beast this year and scored a hat trick while on Spain duty. Not a lot of changes (any?) from the World Cup winning side, beyond perhaps Alba. I don't even Albiol played football, that's how often I've seen his name on the Madrid team sheet (Wiki says he only made 10 league appearances)
Squad Casillas (Real Madrid), Valdes (Barcelona), Reina (Liverpool); Alba (Valencia), Albiol, Arbeloa, Ramos (all Real Madrid), Juanfran (Atlético Madrid), Pique (Barcelona), Marténez (Athletic Bilbao); Xavi, Andrés Iniesta, Busquets, Fábregas (all Barcelona), Alonso (Real Madrid), Silva (Manchester City), Cazorla (Villarreal), Navas (Sevilla), Mata (Chelsea); Llorente (Athletic Bilbao), Torres (Chelsea), Negredo (Sevilla), Pedro (Barcelona). -

So fat Frank goes home, but dont worry England, here comes Jordan Henderson.
So let me get this right, in the Euros, and the midfield they are going to take is Gerrard, Parker(not at full health), and Henderson. Lol ok. Have fun with that. At least this year though we wont have to hear the Steve and Frank cant play together shit now.Comment

I'm 3/4 Irish so it will be nice to finally have a rooting interest in Euro. Once the knockout stage starts, I'll probably jump on the Nederland bandwagon too, love the way they play. Really just want to see anyone but Italy, France, Spain or Germany win.Comment
