Tim Thomas is a serious creeper right now:

From the earliest age I can remember, I've wanted to be a hockey player. I've been blessed in my life to not only be able to live that dream, but to achieve more than I ever thought possible.

The singleminded focus that is necessary to accomplish a dream of this magnitude entails (by necessity) sacrifice in other areas and relationships in life.

At the age of 38, I believe it is time to put my time and energies into those areas and relationships that I have neglected. That is why at this time I feel the most important thing I can do in my life is to reconnect with the three F's.

      Friends, Family, and Faith.

This is what I plan on doing over the course of the next year.

On top of this, I will continue to train using the ARP/POV system www.ultrafitevosport.com and work with G-Form www.g-form.com in the development of protective equipment.

What does this portend for the future?

      We'll see….God's will be done.

      TT

      Leafs offseason training!

Hockey's Ricky Williams everyone. Just needs to smoke a little more weed.
All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

        "rammer" and "cummings"

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

Good for Thomas. You and I have no idea what his life outside of hockey is like. I respect his decision and even admire it because he realizes sports aren't the most important thing in life and is able to walk away from something he loves in order to improve other aspects of his life.

Sounds like he has his priorities straight to me.

Good for Thomas? Fuck Tim Thomas, he did this over politics, not family. He knew what he was doing, he moved his family to Colorado right after the White House debacle. The inside rumors were the Thomas's were not happy with liberal Massachusetts politics and didn't want his kids growing up around liberals. Seriously? The Tea Party has brainwashed him so bad, he moved to a bunker in Colorado waiting for the black guy in White House to take over the world from freedom loving tinfoil hat wearing 'Muricans. His decision wasn't about family, his decision was bat shit crazy.

As far as Thomas's contract, the Bruins are on the hook for a 5 million dollar hit no matter what they do whether they take the hit this year or next year is the only question. By him not retiring does help the B's some as it gives them some options but all of it unlikely. Putting him in the minors would result in the same cap hit. All the Bruins can do is trade him which I doubt anyone wants this fuckhead or they can toil the contract and force him one more year of service in 2013-14.

As far as Team USA in Sochi, yeah right. He will be 39 and almost two years not playing professionally. This fucking ingrate won't make the team. Too many great USA goalies ahead of him now.

                Why you mad bro?

Cuz Thomas doesn't give a fuck about you or the Bruins? They shouldn't have signed him to such a dumb ass contract then. He can do whatever he wants with his life and there's nothing anyone can do about it so who gives a fuck.

And newsflash braniac - Colorado is a blue state that just legalized marijuana.

Newsflash, making pot legal doesn't make you a blue state, Colorado is a well known battleground state but don't let facts get in the way, we know how much facts annoy Republicans, don't we? Colorado is well known for it's psycho militia running around awaiting the apocalypse, perfect fit for Thomas. My point was, this wasn't about family like you implied, this was about his political and personal beliefs. And yes, that makes him (Thomas) an asshole in my mind. Everything the Bruins did for Thomas which included giving him a chance at age 31 when everyone thought he was not NHL material. He is a bad teammate and I couldn't be happier that he is gone. The B's don't need the male version of Michelle Bachmann in the lockerroom.

Mad? Don't think so. Doesn't care about the Bruins? Couldn't care less. There will always be a better #30 in Boston and his name will be Gerry Cheevers.

Oh and let's get this out of the way. If he pulled this shit because he was a liberal, I would still rag on him. Because that is the problem, I do know his politics and quite frankly, I don't give a fuck about his politics and I shouldn't know his politics. All I care about is he plays net and is an athlete for a team I like. That is how it should have stayed.

Used to be a time when we showed respect to each other and didn't throw politics in each others faces. Basing your life and decisions due to your politics in insane and retarded. Thomas is the king of retards,

You don't see Andrew Ference being a problem in the B's lockerroom and he is a lefty.

Fucking American politics can't get shit right when it comes to hockey. In Canada, we move Prime Minister debate nights a day earlier because the NHL playoffs will be on at the same time.

Tim Thomas's agent and Peter Chirelli released statements today about Thomas.

Thomas will be suspended tomorrow but the Bruins will suspend him in a nice way...whatever the fuck that means.

Thomas states he wants to take the year off and comeback next year and wants to be the goalie for Team USA in Sochi.

So there you have it, Thomas is off his rocker if he thinks taking a year off will help him get on Team USA. I think by then, he will be outside of Howard, Quick, Miller and Schnieder and possibly Anderson.

The 2014 Sochi starter spot is Quick's to lose. Miller will be the back up and probably Schnieder will be the third. Thomas can go fuck himself if he actually thinks at 39 years old he will be picked as the starter---after taking a year off.
