    TNA Slammiversary X

The rematch 8 years in the making...

At 'Final Battle' 2004, Austin Aries shocked the world and ended the legendary ROH World Title reign of Samoa Joe. Tonight, Joe will try to end the legendary (ok, more like 'very good', but easily the best in many years, just work with me here) TNA X Division title reign of Austin Aries.

The Tag Title match could be good, too:

The rest of the card ranges from meh to shit, but I might check this out. Anybody else planning to watch any of this?

    No.

But, if they're gonna put Joe on top of the Xdivision again....my interest will take an upswing.

And that ridiculously moronic AJ/markDixie angle totally kills anything with him at the moment unfortunately. Although, AJ+Angle+Daniels sounds like it's instant goodness.

Why is Angle a face, or, is AJ Styles the heel now that he's sleeping with Dixie?

Joe v. Aries should be very good...I'll jump in just to see that one, for sure.

Who the fuck knows. I'm just gonna watch it out of context and hope it's good and a clean finish.

Damn, it feels like a decade since Joe was one of the best in the world.

Remember when Joe shit on Nash with that shoot promo all those years ago?

Joe is Nash now, minus the front office smarts and the mainstream cred.

Good news is, he'll still take the check because he's on TV versus sweating in some YMCA in front of 10 people.

So apparently the tag match was awesome and the main event was flat.

Sting is 50-something and Roode is just lacking...something.

Roode as a singles guy has always lacked a feud or program to put him into main event status.

Turning on James Storm wasn't it.

IMO, they need to stay the course with him though...keep it up.

He's not Flair, but Flair's first title run wasn't all that hot...but by attrition, and a nice build up to a second title win, it was to the moon with him. I'd stay the course with Roode, or SOMEBODY that is a long term champion.

IMO, the booking of a returning James Storm put Storm over like a million bucks.

I don't think either guy will ever get to the next level, but I agree that you have to pick one and give it a go.

I don't either...but you definitely have to run with them.

It was electric all night. Probably the funnest wrestling show Ive ever been to. Fuck Sting though. Hate how he makes Bobby Roode look like such a fucking pussy all the time. I was hoping Roode would have destroyed him but whatever.
