It appears that Anaheim Ducks forward Bobby Ryan could once again be on the trade market.
TSN Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie tweeted on Tuesday that Ryan may be available again after he was taken off the market following the departure of former Ducks head coach Randy Carlyle last fall.
Ryan's name was mentioned in trade rumours at several points last season. Tuesday's news comes just three days before the first round of the NHL Draft, where the trade market tends to pick up.
The durable 25-year-old has missed just one game over the past three seasons. He tallied 31 goals and 26 assists last season, and has cracked the 30-goal plateau in each of the last four campaigns.
The 6'2", 209 lb native of Cherry Hill, New Jersey has three seasons remaining on a five-year, $25.5 million contract that he signed with the Ducks prior to the 2010-11 season. The annual cap hit for the deal is $5.1 million per season.
