    Is he the biggest free agent available now? From reading Ranger blogs, I know he's asking for a shit ton of money which has scared off some teams (Detroit), especially because he's pretty old.

    Where do you see him signing?

      He'll be on a 35+ contract and is looking for 4 year contract worth 30 million dollars. A 7.5 million dollar cap hit for a guy on the downside of his career. No thanks.

          I think he is just asking a fuck load of money because he wants to stay in Phoenix. He has so many roots there and I highly doubt anyone will make a legit offer. More of a scare for Phoenix to get him signed. He is no where near worth that money, and I can see Phoenix signing him to a 5M deal.
          All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

          "rammer" and "cummings"

          The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

              Yeah I think he'll stay in phx unless he gets a silly offer but I don't know why he is taking so long to make a decision.

                  He is I guess asking for a lot even from Phoenix. I don't get it either with him and haven't read to much, but he wants a biggish deal and Phoenix doesn't want to give it to him. He only had like 50pts last season, so he for sure isn't a $7M a year player.

                      I wanted the Sharks to get him but not for more than 4mil a year...Maybe 4.5 tops. He is still a really good player and a great leader. He could help San Jose a lot, but he needs to know where he stands at this point in his career.
