City has nothing to play for so my nigga Scott Sinclair gettin that start. [Plus Silva is out with an injury]

Hart, Maicon, Kompany (c), Lescott, Nastasic, Nasri, Garcia, Barry, Dzeko, Sinclair, Tevez

Also pretty cool that some guys from our Youth squad made the bench. SUBS: Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Meppen-Walters, Evans, Aguero, Nimely, Balotelli

            At least they're through.

City became the first English team to play 6 group games and NOT WIN A SINGLE ONE. It's going to get swept under the rug as City challenge for a second PL in a row, but this was historically poor CL play

Really unimpressive performance by City. Mancini tried to play it off earlier in the year as "lack of experience". Which is quite untrue when you look at the players they have and the CL matches they have played previous to playing with City.

Historically fucking awful. That's why I laugh when they try to say they're a big club. As far as CL, they are still very very small.

Exactly. Terrible excuse. Dortmund has less experience in EVERY way and fucking owned that group

after zero wins in the group stage, i can now see Mancini getting the boot soon. especially if there is any truth to the Guardiola rumors. i'd like him to stick around though

I've never really understood why a guy like Guardiola would just go to another big club. I realize the paycheck is higher but you'd think he might want a challenge.

I think that a big club can still be a perfectly reasonable challenge, especially if the goal is sustained success. Plus I think being held back by a lack of resources would frustrate him.

My concern is that Pep is from the Barca school. He came through La Masia, he coached the B team and he brought a ton of kids through that system in to the first team. How is he going to fit at a club like City, where the answer is always buy more? Perhaps guys like Guidetti would get more time, but the City academy, even with Sheik money, is nowhere close to Barca's.

He's obviously got a mind for tactics (see Barca's shift to a 3-4-3 system), so I think he will be a very successful coach wherever he goes. I'm just not sure one of the money driven clubs is the right fit. However, if you eliminate those, where else is there for him to go and still be a success?

Obvioulsy not ths team I wanted them to play. But its pretty exciting everytime these two teams play and with all the stories included. Should be fun. United will go down swinging, and Madrids defense will always be the issue for them. Cant wait!
