What a fucking garbage fight. The only saving grace is that Bonnar will go balls out to try and do the impossible.

Keep on acting like you don't want to see one of those ridiculous fights that makes And1 look like a god.

Bonnar was contemplating retirement. No disrespect to him, I like him as a fighter and he's never been finished via anything other than cuts, but this fight is total UFC desperation. Good for Bonnar, it will be a nice payday for him, and he's in a no lose situation. But holy shit, is this company scrambling to put together main events and flying by the seat of their pants.

It's been a rough couple of months.

I dont mind this fight, I always said that champs or the top guys need some easy fights, also any time And1 fights its a must see, I just LOL when I hear fan boys talk about how fighters fight for the competetion and to 'prove themselves' and blah, blah, blah

These dudes are fighting for money first, all that other crap is just talk, And1 has seen a chance to make more Anderson Silva money and get an easy win, he likes to eat his cheeseburgers and get out of shape, taking a 205 fight makes this an easy payday

I wish the 'fans' would stop ripping GSP for not moving up to fight Silva, why cant he get these asy fights Silva gets when he 'moves up'? GSP should go fight a Cote, Kendall Grove and a Rich Franklin, Silva is picking easy wins any time he goes up in weight, but GSP has to fight the GOAT his first time moving up?

I wouldn't say Silva gets easy fights when he moves up. This fight is easy, definitely. But the other fights were far more acceptable competition. James Irvin was his first fight at LHW, which was only because 4 other guys turned down fighting Silva, although who turned the fights down is unknown. Even so, Irvin was coming off a win over Houston Alexander and posed a good challenge... on paper at least. Forrest Griffin was a fight removed from losing the LHW title and still a serious contender for the belt, even after losing to Evans.

This fight, though, is definitely weak. It will at least be entertaining to watch Silva demolish the guy.

Griffin was sent to 'make Silva fight', almost a fixed fight, like when Gary Shaw wanted people to stand with Kimbo

Irvin, a freshly KO'd and sent to stand and bang Forrest and now Bonnar, 3 hand picked and great match ups for Silva at LHW, compare that to Hendo and it's laughable what Silva has done at LHW

Also, the post knock down hands failing and leg in the air routine really sealed the deal that it was a dive, almost Ken 'slipping' against Franklin quality

Why would Forrest agree to take a dive?

Because Forrest has been promised a life time job with the UFC

Tell me that fight was legit, you got a guy who has a good ground game, a LHW, his best chance to win was taking Silva to the fence and to the ground, so what does he do? Starts with a high kick then starts standing and wanging

That flop was not good acting
