Those are two different things, from fixing to giving out fight of the night/KO/sub bonuses.

Are you against the bonuses? Yes, UFC gives random money in the back that nobody knows about. Can't really tell a company not to, though.

Funny though...these fight bonuses didn't help Silva when he was having shitty fights against Leites/Cote/Maia.

Promoters sway the fights all the time, tough to get away with out right fixing, but they have there ways, encouraging a guy like Griffin to make it exciting is close if that happened

Shaw paying Seth to stand against Kimbo, that's bad, Ken has used terms like "put people over" for the UFC, the Franklin fight is questionable

Even the TUF final, reality show contestants fighting for contracts on there biggest stage has shady written all over it , and then they both get them? Lol

Silva doesn't need fight bonuses, they are used to get the other guys going and swayed to stand and bang

GSP doesn't care either, those guys don't need it

Fighters are out there saying they're fighting for the bonus all the time, UFC is a half a step away from the WWE with the way they're going

It could be argues that SOTN and KOTN are glorified bounty programs

Land that extra unnecessary shot get an 75k, snap that arm get some more dollars...

No one, just an observation that he has had one of the most hand picked careers in the UFC

This whole "save the last 2 cards" angle was just another way to get an easy LHW payday fight, if he truely wants to fight at LHW he would fight a top guy like everyone is asking GSP to do, but And1 just gets a pass and picks up easy paydays, kind of funny actually

Also wasn't Silva not fighting for the rest of the year and that's why he wasn't going to fight Weidman next?

                      Yep.

He doesn't want Weidman/Bisping/Boetsch/whoever else, was going to take the rest of the year off and wait for GSP.

Finds an easy pay day to save a card (151, now 153) and will get the monster pay day next year with GSP.
