Santos and Hale are the lead dogs in this tournament.

Volkov kinda intrigues me, but he's still a twig and I think Rogers is going to bully him.

Bellator 75 weigh-in results: Heavyweight tournament set as all fighters hit mark
by MMAjunkie.com Staff on Oct 04, 2012 at 7:10 pm ET
The eight fighters enlisted in Bellator's season 7 heavyweight tournament all made weight for Friday's Bellator 75 event.

Included in the festivities were headliners Eric Prindle (264 pounds) and Thiago Santos (265.6), who will finally have their long-awaited rematch, as well as a co-feature between the heaviest fighter in the field, Brett Rogers (265.8), and the lightest, Alexander Volkov (225.2).

Today's ceremony took place in the lobby of the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Ind. The same venue hosts Friday's event, which includes a main card on MTV2 and prelims on Spike.com.

There was one slight issue on the evening's preliminary card as Chase Beebe initially weighed 136.2 pounds, which is just slightly over the bantamweight limit. However, he came back shortly after the official ceremony and made the contest official at 136 pounds.

This heavyweight tournament has been great so far.

@ Santos/Prindle. They are cursed. Never match them up again ever.

So very disappointed in Rogers. He apparently thought he had an easy win, but after that first round he just gave up. Volkov looked very good.

Thought Holata was going to pull it off, but Queiroz's BJJ saved him.

Hale ran through Wessel. His athleticism will be a big advantage for him.
