No one expected Liverpool to magically get back to the top 4. A bottom half finish is possible this year while the team gets used to playing in BR's system. He himself said its going to take time and we'll have some highs and some lows. We don't have the money to buy success and are trying to implement a long lasting system. If given the time and some resources from the owners, I think he can definitely get us back to the top of the table.
Have you forgotten the only reason City got a point against us was because of 2 errors on our part? United had to rely on the officials to get the win too. I don't think we belong in the top 6 at the moment, however we have shown flashes of whats to come.
Hey remember when City was winning the league in 2001-02? Oh not the top flight mind you, but the old First Division.
