What night do you guys see Bellator being on? You see it following TNA or maybe the next night? Or just behind them at first to start the buzz?

I think about that sometimes and I'll assume it will be one of three nights.
If they want to piggyback TNA, Thursdays could be an option from 10pm-midnight. If they want to spread things out, Wednesday, but I don't like that idea, having live MMA in the middle of the week.
Friday nights is an option, but I think it's a death slot for a product they hope to build.
The most realistic idea may be Saturday nights (that was the night Spike aired live UFC's back in the day).

The problem with Thursday, is it would be a 10e, so you are losing some audience because its tough for some people to stay up until 12 or 1 on a week day. Plus they have tickets to sell, and a show that ends at 1am on a weeknight is not an easy sell.
With that said, I would piggy back TNA and take advantage of the crossover to get established. Eventually I would think the goal should be Saturday. I would not let UFC shows running the same night scare me. There is tons of evidence that going head to head has made no difference in the past on Bellators ratings. Saturday is "fight night" in our culture.Comment
