Don't think those examples are relevant at all.

Austin and Punk are about the only examples I can think of and those are exceptions to the rule.
Just because Mysterio and RVD are lesser examples, doesn't mean they aren't examples. In any other world...Rey Mysterio and RVD get NO LOVE from Vince and the WWE. But, the fans loved them. So, in the WWE, they were regulars at the top of the card for a lot of their WWE career. They were both given the ball at some point simply due to their organic fanbase. They weren't given the push of a Punk or Austin, but the point is still the same.

Jeff Hardy is another lesser example.

Danielson will eventually break the glass ceiling at some point.

Those are 2 (maybe 3 guys) out of 20 years. Thus, despite being examples, they aren't really telling of the overall thought process of the company. They are outliers.

Of course not...BUT, you said "That's never, ever, ever how the WWE does it though. They don't care who you react to, they go with who they want to push."...which, isn't always true. There are organic wrestlers getting pushed...some to the moon, some break through the ceiling, but not to the moon, some guys just exceed expectations. Definitely more since the WCW-WWF merger than prior, but they do push guys who get themselves over and they do give them the ball.

Lol okay, fine, if we're going to get into semantics. It's something they have done before (not NEVER) but they've done it with any seriousness 3 times in 30 years.

Gotta love W2B echo'ing my Hulk Hogan quotes...

His life is a work. Totally.

I still think he and Linda were in cahoots to split the assets so that Graziano family didn't get all of their money.

This Clem-Hogan case is such a work, its ridiculous.

Have you gotten to the part where we list about 15 Hogan lies in 20 seconds?

I am there now. Great stuff.

Hogan definitely believes all of his lies. There is no way a guy can lie that much and not believe it. Because he keeps the same lies up for YEARS.

He has been telling the Andre story for 20 years. The Foreman story for another 20 lol
