Looks like Dragon Gate UK is running from February 22-24.

So if DGUSA is going to get something in between now & WrestleCon, it would probably have to be in January. Late March is too fast of a turnaround, plus all the key guys are working UK the end of February, so early March is asking a lot in terms of travel and burnout.

      TONIGHT

Three pricing options, as low as $9.99.

Attendance expected to take a hit due to Frankenstorm, support alternative wrestling, support Dragon Gate, they could use the boost, the shows always deliver, world class talent, give one of the shows a shot, especially you guys who bitch about RAW & Impact all the time. Try something new & fresh.

Of course I had something come up because I can't ever have a night to myself or a night to do things on my own, so I won't be live tweeting. Sorry guys @JoeMLanza is still the source and I updated the blog post at voicesofwrestling.com.

                Intermission.

Good debuts from Eita & ACH. Samuray Del Sol & Callihan had a good finish. Fun six man match, including a SWAMP MONSTER run in Muta handspring elbow.

Arda Ocal is doing the commentary tonight. He's doing a good job.

Good show. Not great by DGUSA standards, just a solid pro wrestling show.

Best matches were Tozawa vs Jon Davis, & The Jimmyz vs Super Smash Bros.

Crowd was DEAD all night until Tozawa came out, at which point they popped like retards. "To-zow-a! To-zow-a!" chants all match long, too. Davis beat him with a big lariat to continue the big push. Davis showed amazing heel charisma here. He does a new gimmick where he picks out a fan during his ring walk and stares the m'fer down for like two minutes. He did this with three different fans. They restarted his music twice.

Jimmyz did their runner band spot which got a "this is awesome" chant and a "one more time" chant. They did it again, but it backfired. This match got over with the crowd, they loved it. Good action.

AR Fox did an injury angle in the first minute of the main event. It was very convincing. Even Gabe came out and they sold it like a million bucks, just subtle enough to make it look real. So Fox worked the match on the bad leg. The story was Ricochet was too cocky, and Fox pulled the upset. Wrestling 101, but too predictable. Ricochet blew off the respect stip and left.

Eita was impressive in his debut against Gargano. Davis attacked Gargano, and "reinjured" his back. That will play into the rest of the weekend.

ACH did very well in the six man. Fun match, but he wasn't in a position to shine. Hit all his spots, looked good. Faces Eita in a dark match tomorrow that they really should consider airing.

Looking forward to the next two shows, then New Japan iPPV next weekend. Yes.

Gabe has confirmed to one of my sources that they will have DGUSA shows in January, so these are not the last shows before WrestleCon.

The headcount in Voorhees as I type this is roughly 50 fans. Ouch.

Pre show match - Latin Dragon def. Gary Jay via corkscrew 480. Dragon was over and looked good. Jay played heel and taunted fans.

Im told Eita & ACH tore it up for 14 minutes in their ore show match. Standing ovation and "this is awesome" chants. Peolle knew Eita and chanted "king of chop".

Big mistake going dark with that.
