There was Triple H/Katie Vick. Also Beaver Cleavage ended up being a wife beater/rapist type before they dropped it. Empire mentioned Batista insinuating rape towards Melina (as a babyface!).

DDP was stalking Sara Undertaker, and it had creepy undertones. They dropped that, too.

Obviously these things never go over well, but they keep trying them.

I believe so, it was suppose to be Goldust's revenge. Instead they just kept them off TV for a bit then did an angle where Runnels broke up with Marlena and became "The Artist Formerly Known as Goldust"

The thing with that ROH angle, is the crowd gets really excited because they think Dempsey is finally going to snap on Sweeney, especially since Hero/Toland/Del Rey/and the cast of thousands aren't out there. Then when they realize what is happening, half the crowd starts to groan, the other half (the misogynist virgins) clap like retards and egg it on.

Dempsey could have teased snapping on Sweeney and the rest of SnS could have come out and beat him down as usual. Oh well, hindsight.
