I don't think GSP should take the Silva fight.

GSP actually looked human for a moment.

Only have one thing to say about tonite.. that Silva split screen garbage was a disgrace to the sport. I couldnt even pay attention to rounds 4 and 5 because I was so annoyed by it. Absolutely pathetic on the UFC's part.

GSP is the greatest 170 lb fighter of all time. Why on earth should he fight a guy who cuts 40-50 lbs to make 185?

Do we ask hall of fame RB's to prove themselves at WR?

Why doesn't Jose Aldo prove himself against Jon Jones, while we're at it. Dumb.

Johny Hendricks should get a shot at GSP next.

I missed a few big moments in the fight because of that.

On the US PPV, did they actually break the visual in half for Silva? On the UK feed, it was a small in-set of Silva in the corner of the screen.

I'd like to see GSP/Silva, not because either guy has to prove anything...because it'd be a huge event. 70,000 in Brazil, close to that at Cowboy Stadium or in Canada, it'd be epic. Plus, I wonder whether GSP's wrestling could render Silva's size advantage moot.

If GSP doesn't want to do it, it's understandable. Then we'll get to see HENDRICKS knock another top 170er out.

As long as that pothead Diaz doesn't sneak his way into the shot first.

I think Silva vs Jones is a much more intriguing 'dream fight' than Silva vs GSP

Agreed. They are much closer in size and skill.

GSP by decision is the easiest puck in sports

GSP should not take the Silva fight, he already knows he can win, And1 would KO him, to big

Silva vs Jones please, GSP has others to fight, Hendricks and Diaz plus he just came back

It's Silva & GSP obviously, but GSP can not beat Silva. Silva vs Jones is a much more intriguing fight to me, style wise it would be more exciting, the fighters are the same size, and the outcome is more in doubt.

If the fight happens, it will smash all records and i'll be watching with everybody else, I just think Silva would be a 3-1 favorite and at this stage where both guys are getting up there in age, especially Silva, with a finite number of prime fights left in them, I just see better opponents out there for both of them.

GSP doesn't want the fight. He's never wanted the fight. For years he's ducked the question, and you can see by his body language that he doesn't think it's a great idea. With that said, I think he will be pressured to do it and the fight will happen.
