Smart Mark Video in conjunction with WiF did one of these a few weeks ago as they test out their iPPV capabilities. The first one went smoothly, and this is test run #2. The show is free. All you have to do is click the link at showtime. They encourage feedback, positive and negative, on the quality of the feed. If you are free Saturday, check out the show, at least for a few minutes, and either tell them what you think or post in this thread and i'll forward it on. If Smart Mark joins wwnlive & gofightlive in the iPPV game, it will only mean more wrestling and more promotions on iPPV for the fans.
'Wrestling is Fun' is a sister promotion of CHIKARA, similar to what FIP was for ROH and what NXT is to WWE. It's where they give students & younger guys additional chances to work for live crowds, try out new gimmicks, etc. CHIKARA storylines are loosely followed and the shows are generally a self contained offshoot of the CHIKARA universe.
Lots of great talent on this show. Estonian Thunder Frog has a cult following right now and is a must see gimmick. Quack, Touchdown, Fire Ant, Akuma, Hallowicked, etc always bring the goods. Should be a fun show.
