Wade Keller breaks new details on Ambrose/Reigns/Rollins

He says the working name for the group is "The Shield", and that the plan is to go "all the way" with a big, big push.

The song in the link titled "I'm Telling You" will be their entrance theme according to Keller: http://www.reverbnation.com/playlist...artist_2589241

Oh, and "all the way" usually means...immediately go up against top faces and lose any and all blow off match and when the group gets stale, they'll drop'em mostly back to developmental.

One more thing...Ohno should really be put into this group.

          Ugh.

I think the part that bothers me most is that, in theory, this should be right in my wheelhouse. I dig stables, I like the talent, and its not the worst way to introduce new talent. I simply have zero faith in the WWE making it anything other than fucking terrible. They will ways to make it suck. That's the only area where you can actually count on the company being creative at this point.

Can't wait to see what panic move Vince makes next to solve the ratings issue. They have been booking lazy and sloppy for a long time, its catching up with them, and they are compounding it by doing worse. The Cena-AJ love angle is bombing. What's next? A weekly 4-hour Raw SuperShow? Vince winning the WHT again? Maybe bring back every talent they had back in '98 who is still alive... and even a few who aren't...?

I would say they start the show with "The Shield" beating the shit out of Ryroids shit maybe throw him off the stage? Or stop and go back to two hours.

The Shield is a god awful name, especially for a heel stable.

Are they supposed to be cops? Is that why they have all the tactical gear on?

TNA has a stable of outlaws on their show so it's only natural that WWE would have a stable of cops

Surprised at the negativity, but it's understandable. I have little faith myself, but I will give it a chance.

The only thing I don't like is grouping Seth Rollins in a heel stable. I don't feel like he's able to pull off being a heel.

The spanish announce team must have gotten an early memo, because supposedly they were calling them "The Shield" on RAW.

They are booking it assuming no one knows who he is, so he starts off with the heels, shows his abilty and at the end breaks away and becomes a baby. he is not a guy you want to start off as a baby becuase he has no were to go from there besides Kofi Kingston level baby

Plus Rollins did fine as a heel when the ROH fans turned him. His heel promos (while still bad) were much better than his face promos.

Since I started watching wrestling regularly again in early 2008, I've heard the "give it a chance" line so many times. And I understand why - nothing looks more wrestling geek than freaking out negatively over something that has barely been introduced yet. But you eventually just come to expect the worst out of the WWE. Its a learned response, not just outright negativity. In a sense, I envy those wrestling fans (not WWE fans but ones who are actual wreslting fans) who can enjoy the WWE to a fair degree because they can ignore the questionable on-screen logic, shit continuity, and wasted potential. If I could, I wouldn't see something like this and just think "they are gonna fuck this up completely" because even if they do... so fucking what? But I don't wanna just be stupidly entertained by stupid wrestling...

Not really directed at you, W2B... Just expressing frustration that gets the better of me every so often...
