If my scenario plays out, he is far from a pussy, because it means he's fighting Silva instead of Hendricks.

He has a much better chance of beating Hendricks as opposed to Silva.

He's taking the two bigger money fights, a Hendricks fight right now makes little sense financially for GSP or UFC.

Look at it this way. GSP/Hendricks is easily last of the three in terms of what fights will make the most money. What sense does it make to make that fight, especially since Hendricks is a live opponent and could win? If Hendricks wins, GSP/Silva is out the window, and GSP/Diaz would probably happen next but draw far less due to the GSP loss.

So GSP/Diaz is the best fight for GSP right now. It's the second biggest fight he can make, and it's the fight he is most likely to win.

Unfortunately, Hendricks has to wait.
