New VSN Wrestling Podcast - Micah Taylor talks WWE developmental & more

Joe and Rich welcome Micah Taylor, former WWE development talent and current independent pro wrestler, to talk about his career past and present. The interview touches on his unorthodox training in Hawaii, his eventual move to Kentucky and the OVW territory, his developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment and his tumultuous relationship with Deep South Wrestling’s Bill DeMott. The guys discuss the Kevin Matthews/Bill DeMott Twitter controversy involving the nude stinkface, why he felt DeMott sabotaged his career and the career of others and much more insight into the world of WWE developmental.

If you like DIRT and NAME DROPPING, this is your interview.

Taylor talks at length about the behind the scenes shenanigans of not only Bill DeMott, but also Rob Conway, Nick "Euguene" Dinsmore, Dave Taylor, Tommy Dreamer, Rip Rogers, Kevin Thorn, Kevin Matthews, and just about everybody else from the mid 2000's developmental era.

No clue. We tried to find info on the guy. No dice. Sounds like some random carny con man scamming dudes on the beaches of Hawaii.

I mean, the guy had a man servant he called Nigga Neil, for good's sake.

Dan Sileo is a former Miami Hurricane that went by THE BONECRUSHER...he wrestled a little bit with WCW in the mid-90's, also wrestled in the CWA. He subbed in a few times for Hawk when he was on a binge and teamed with Animal overseas.

I don't know. I doubt this guy was anything more than some indy guy at the end of the line conning $1700 out of kids. But I guess there is a chance. Was Sileo based in Hawaii?

It's definitely not him. I'm trying to find out but I don't think.

It stopped playing right as he was about to talk about Bill Demott for me. I enjoyed it up to that point though

Sorry about the awkwardness, he had a very tough pattern of speaking. It was hard to tell when he was done with a thought or answer. I thought it turned out great though!

                        odd.

I just listened all the way through. Did your internet have a hiccup?

Found this on youtube. Good example of what Taylor was talking about, how in OVW he was used to put over the heels getting ready for TV, and how moving to Deep South to be a top face was a good move for him at the time.

I remember the group High Impact, they were always at the top of the tag division, but never got the call.
