They are booking Flair for the same reason TNA was booking him. They think he can draw money.

Also, not sure if you read the entire thread, but Flair agreed to work the show as a favor/thank you for his son Reid being taken care of and trained in the All Japan dojo.
I didn't know that, so I take back my comments. His kid needs the break.

      Flair didn't wrestle.

He had a swollen leg and they feared a blod clot from the long flight. Supposedly there are pictures.

      That's what killed Chris Candido.

Story's going around that Mutoh says Flair didn't have any blood clots. He simply didn't bring his ring gear, and there's a lot of thought that it wasn't forgetfulness-he never intended to work the match anyway. He still got paid for his appearance, and pocketed the autograph money. The blood clot story was cover. Can't say I'm surprised, but Flair might've burned his son's bridge with AJPW over this.
Considering the shit Flair has pulled with Highspots & ROH in recent years, this is believable and it's hard to defend Flair at this point.

2/23 Korakuen Hall - Former NOAH guy debut

                  Jun Akiyama vs Takao Omori
Yoshinobu Kanemaru vs Shuji Kondo (All Japan Jr Title)
                  Go Shiozaki vs Manabu Soya
                  Kotaro Suzuki vs Kaz Hayashi
                  Atsushi Aoki vs Hiroshi Yamato

I'm pumped up for this, All Japan junior division is going to be a lot of fun, and I can't wait to see Go Shiozaki vs fresh opponents.

How could you do that when your son is working there?
