So, I take it this site is just kind of slow? Any thoughts on how to jump start it more?

Khudobin first off the practice ice. I have been looking forward to seeing him this year. He played one game late last season in one game and backed up Thomas in the playoffs but didn't see any playoff action of course. He looked great in the one game saving 45 shots and giving up 1 goal. His NHL numbers are pretty good but a very small sample size. 7 games 6 starts 7 goals .961 SA and a 1.32 GA. Hope this guy is what he is.

Nothing to do with the site, just the hockey section. This has always been a low numbers section, and we had to fight to even get our own forum. Basically the VSN hockey club was always myself, leaf, kg, wr50l, fappin, tailback, Thomas, krebs (when the bitch is around) and a few others. Not huge numbers at all.

The fact we have all topics on the front page of the forum within the last 2-3 weeks is a big deal, considering there is like 8 guys posting constantly. So while I hate your boston love with a passion, I'm happy you post because VSN hockey guys need to stick together.

All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

        "rammer" and "cummings"

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

Anyone else prefer this crammed schedule? I kinda love watching the Sharks play 4 times a week.

Yup, I absolutely love the crunched schedule. However, I can't remember the last time the Bruins didn't play their Saturday matinee. Much like the Leafs ( I believe the Leafs get a 4 Pm start every Saturday), the Bruins always play in the afternoon at home on Saturday (think back to this whiny Canucks crying last year about the east coast start time) unless playing the Leafs, Montreal or their annual 6 game Western Canada road trip.

Caught the Islanders-Jets game last night, brutal loss for the Isles. They were up 4-2 in the 3rd, allowed Winnipeg to force OT, at which point Evander Kane promptly delivered the game winner.

Wow the Bruins just dominating the Canes. Marchand the rat with a beauty of a shorthanded goal. Now Chara with a PP goal and it's only 5 minutes in.

I love watching the Flyers almost every day, but the problem is that they have been terrible in the 2nd half of back to back games so that one usually isn't fun to watch haha.

Dominant win last night for the Oil. Think shots on goal in the first was like 15-4 and Eberle's goal was sick. There were a lot of turnovers trying to break out of the zone that could bite us against better teams, so hopefully they cut those out, but all in all a very good performance
