My gripe with Manias, and I've been to a couple...holy fuck is there a lot of downtime. Between announcements, introducing veterans, introducing retards, introducing Hall of Famers, a concert from an artist that was relevant 20 years, etc...dude, condense that shit a little bit.
You got fans there for...5 hours at MINIMUM...many there for 6-7. You are going to lose your audience participation for long stretches, especially when as a result, you give them a lot of generally mundane stuff.
I know its hard to captivate 70,000+ for 7 hours without time off...but you gotta do a better job of keeping the product as engaging as possible for the entire time.
