    Straus hurt, now Pat Curran vs...

    SHAHBULAT SHAMHALAEV for the Bellator FW title on April 4th

    Sucks for Straus, but this is a better fight IMO, The Russian doesn't need any rest, if he dies, he dies...

      It actually works out better for Straus. Had he not gotten hurt, he would have had to beat both men to come away as champion. Now, all he has to do is beat one or the other. One fight, one win, avoid the tournament. Now the Russian is in the position of winning two fights to keep out of the tournament.

          Plus, I believe this is better for Straus if Shahbulat wins, Curran is a much tougher fight for Straus's style compared to Shamhalaev
