They commanded 100M for this franchise, so yes it is.

I think 22 is the target number. This "wave" of expansion was expected to include another NY franchise and then presumably something in the southeast. There will be at least two more expansion clubs coming I'd suspect.

Someone in the Southeast will get one soon enough, doubt they're gonna stop at 20 since they don't seem at all committed to the single table system. The TV market in NY(actual)C is too big to not try to hit. And with Man City plus the Yankees knocking on the door...

I get though that you probably understand the reasoning and just wish you had your own team.

Northern California is an area where they might have looked into because that's where the most youth soccer is being played based in some surveys. Apparently No Cal has the most and the most active youth leagues which is why they were bing considered.

But anyway, congrats I guess? I never understood two teams in one city (generally same area). Never have never will.

Word has been now Becks will get his team, somewhere in Florida. We shall see.
