Appears so, that's their CEO who responded to a Rampage tweet.

    Swerve, I guess?

Jackson, who did not re-sign with the UFC following his unanimous decision loss to Glover Teixeira in January, has signed an exclusive contract with Bellator, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.

    Mo vs. Rampage better happen.

More accurately, Spike has signed Rampage Jackson:

Spike TV annnounced today it had signed a multi-year contract with Quinton "Rampage" Jackson for both MMA and pro wrestling, similar to the deal they had signed with King Mo Lawal.

The signing was part of a joint announcement with Kevin Kay of Spike, Bjorn Rebney of Bellator and Dixie Carter of TNA.

They noted that Jackson's match with Dan Henderson on Spike was one of the most-viewed cable TV MMA matches of all-time, and that his season coaching Ultimate Fighter against Rashad Evans was the top rated season in the history of the show (largely due to the presence of Kimbo Slice).

A press conference is being scheduled tomorrow morning in Los Angeles.

Jackson will star in a Spike TV reality series and do other projects with the network. The reality series will build to his Bellator debut. He will also be used in some fashion on Impact Wrestling.

His deal includes a reality show, stuff with Paramount, TNA and of course...fighting.

He may move to heavyweight so he doesn't have to cut weight.

I thought it was interesting that Jackson openly said at the presser that he fully expects to lose half of his fights, because he plans to fight to entertain, and not 'win at all costs'.

And fighting heavyweight is the right move at this stage. He won't have to worry about cutting weight, and Kongo is the only guy in his class. Bellator heavyweight has always been a wasteland outside of Konrad.

they should just have him put over King Mo in MMA, maybe hype a rematch for a while letting him do his TV/Movies/etc.

Does anybody think angle/rampage will happen? I am leaning hard towards no.

I feel like I read somewhere that rampage wants to eventually tag team with king mo. I can see all the sloppy matches now...

That segment was so good, that TNA better find a way to do it. They'd be nuts not to.

Anyway, would like to see Bellator cheat a little and get Rampage into a cheap 4-man tournament, and get him into a title shot ASAP. Then do the same with Kongo, and you have yourself a cool TV fight between Kongo & Rampage down the line.
