Double Bogey Blues: Buddha's Golf Tracker

Kinda piggybacking off of Ravin's thread(Great Idea), I'm gonna track the various rounds I play throughout the year. We have 4 park district courses that I generally play, so most of my rounds will be at those courses. Last year I was out almost every other day, but this year money is a bit tighter and the weather has been shit so I normally only golf every Friday with my brother.

Normally I shoot anywhere from 90-110 depending on which swing shows up. I have a bad tendency of hitting my driver well, and then not hitting my Irons, or Hitting my Irons and having a horrible slice with my driver. Always fun when it happens mid round.

    Clubs and Equipment.

Last year I finally decided to spend some money on my golf habit, so my fiance went out and bought me a brand new set of Callaway Clubs.

    Driver: Callaway Rzr X Black
Wood: Callaway Rzr X Black (3)
    Irons: Callaway Diablo (4-9)
Wedges: Callaway Diablo (A-P) Cheap Wilson (L-S)
    Putter: Cheap Wilson

My Driver has an A Shaft, which is made for slower speeds. When I tested out clubs that shaft seemed to give me a bit more yards and more control. I leaned very hard at purchasing the Ping G15 Set, but when I hit each club I didnt notice a big difference between them so I went the cheaper route.

Tees: Standard Tee's, nothing too special. I tried going with the bubble tee's that have the ball set up perfectly, but prefer the standard.

Gloves: I use two Footjoy gloves. People always ask why I use two, and the only response I can come up with is it just feels better. I played baseball growing up so maybe im just used to two gloves.

Balls: Callway Diablo Tour HX....In my bag is also Callaway Diablo HX, and Callaway Warbird. The tours add a bit of distance off the tee, because they get a nice bounce on the fairway. \\

    Shoes: Nike Air.

      Sinnissippi Golf Course

Sinnissippi is a 9 hole course here in town. It's a Par 37, 3230 Yard course. Almost every hole has trees lining the fairway, and it is very hilly.

      Scorecard

      Hole 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 Total
      Par 4 4 4 4 4 3 5 4 5 37
      Yards 434 315 312 333 334 190 456 386 470 3230
      Score 5 4 6 5 5 5 6 5 6 47
This was one of those days where everything seemed to work out until the end. I couldnt really complain about anything until Hole 7, when I shanked my 3 wood right on shot 2. After I scrambled to get in position for par, the damn putt toilet bowled out. Hole 8 went pretty smoothly, and was in great position to try for bird on 9 until I chunked my wedge about 4 yards. All and all I brought home a 47 which tied my brother in our little rivalry.
