Marin Loaned to Sevilla

The Chelsea forward Marko Marin will spend next season on loan at Sevilla, the Premier League side have announced.

The 24-year-old Germany international moved to Stamford Bridge from Werder Bremen last summer but the capture of his compatriot André Schürrle, from Bayer Leverkusen, means he has fallen down the pecking order under José Mourinho.

A statement on chelseafc.com read: "Chelsea Football Club and Sevilla Futbol Club have reached an agreement for the season-long loan of Marko Marin, subject to the completion of legal documentation and a medical."

Marin made 16 appearances for Chelsea last season after a hamstring injury early in the campaign delayed his competitive debut

Good move for the kid. Hopefully it works out as well for him as Spain has for Courtois. Glad to see more kids fighting to get away from the bench and in to a real league that can offer PT

Yup probably wasn't going to get much of a look and probably realized it after his small sample of rather poor outings last season. Deserves the chance to play more and we'll see where it takes us after. Most Chelsea supporters want to just sell him but I'm not so quick to judge. Think he might provide some fine depth on a more than likely friendly wage.
