Looks like Randy Orton makes (at least) $3.5M per year

This came out of nowhere ... mega-rich WWE star Randy Orton HAS GOTTEN DIVORCED -- and TMZ has learned, he gets a ton of the marital loot ... including cars, massive bank accounts ... and of course, his gun collection.

According to the court papers, he makes $291,666 per month, which works out to a shade under $3.5M. It doesn't specify if that's a base salary, or imates that include bonuses/royalties. I would assume the latter, but I don't know how divorce proceedings work. It seems like the divorce was mutual & amicable though, so he may not be hiding income.

According to court documents, she claimed the marriage was “irretrievably broken.” The couple has a four-year-old daughter. The key note in the document is that it claims Orton earns $3.5 million annually. Orton had signed a ten-year deal a few years back, when he and Cena were considered the top two guys in the company. Even though Orton really hasn’t been pushed as such, he is probably the third ranking wrestler on the roster behind Cena and Punk, given he’s the guy they use as the drawing card generally on the second tour. I’m presuming that figure would be his income with everything figured in, because the very top WWE talent works with $1 million downside guarantees (even Cena does and HHH when he was active full-time did and still does as far as his wrestling portion of his salary goes). But given his position on the shows and his merchandise sales, that number was higher than I expected as far as total salary. One person with familiarity to such numbers said the report of a $291,666 per month salary is “laughable,” and that Orton may have had some specific months that big when there was a major PPV that he was in a key match, but noted his guaranteed contract is nowhere close to that level. Without knowing him in specific, but knowing people at the same level, I would expect his annual guarantee to be the same $1 million per year and his annual income being significantly above that. It’s pretty well known that the top tier in the company earn $1 million downside and nobody is contracted for more except the attractions like Rock and Lesnar.
