What does it matter? I spent yesterday watching twitter blow up with everyone making 1000 of the same jokes about it. Sure it doesn't just roll of the tongue like Atlantic, central and pacific, but what else can you call it? The divisions are all fucked up anyway. Detroit, Ottawa and Toronto are 'atlantic' teams, while the New York's and Washington (sit on the Atlantic seaboard) are not.
Other than going player names for the divisions, I really can't think of anything to call the division. Northeast is the closest, except Carolina fucks that up.All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

If they wanted to play the geographical card, shoulda called it the East division (and the Pacific the West division), then make it Atlantic/Pacific Conferences.Comment
