Most recent report I've read is that they haven't responded to the latest huge bid from Madrid. They would be stupid to hang onto him if he wants to go - that's just a distraction and he will go eventually. Tottenham can try to claim they don't want to be a selling club but under the right situation, every club can be a selling club.
