    A bit shocked and discouraged by this. I realize he doesn't fit really into Spurs squad, but I would have thought another English team would be in for him. Maybe he's homesick.

                          Don't get it. But good for him I guess. Wasnt good enough anymore for Tottenham after their business.

                          But odd choice to go back to MLS. Well not that odd, consider he's gonna get almost 10 mil! It was either Seattle or Portland and reports were Portland didn't match the money.

                          Good for him I guess? U.S. ambassador for the game instantly now. Still think highly of him.

                                          Not a bad thing for US soccer IMO. I loved that he was doing so well in England but it's nice to have him back stateside.

                                              I think that's it. I think he is a star for a Fulham mid-level type team. In order for him to get that status again he would have to go back to that type of team. Why do that?

                                              For that might as well just go home. And hell, get an insane amount of money doing it.

                                              Don't get it though. Nothing wrong with it. Things like this will always raise eyebrows.

                                                  Having him play with two other NT players is better for the team then having him play on a struggling EPL side.
