    11/3/2013 Osaka, BODYMAKER COLOSSEUM ~THE GATE OF DESTINY 2013~ - USTREAM $25

    1. Jimmy Susumu, Ryo "Jimmy" Saito, Jimmy Kanda vs. Super Shisa, Shachihoko BOY, Ryotsu Shimizu
    2. 3 Way Tag Match: Mr. Quu Quu Tanizaki Naoki Toyonaka Dolphin, Jimmy Kagetora vs. Mondai Ryu, Kzy vs. Don Fujii, Gamma
    3. U-T, The Former Super Shenlong III: Yosuke Watanabe, Flamita, Rocky Lobo vs. CIMA, Masaaki Mochizuki, CIBA, TSUBASA
    4. Open the Brave Gate Championship Match: Genki Horiguchi H.A.Gee.Mee!! vs. Anthony Nese
    5. 29th Open the Twin Gate Champion Team Decision Match: T-Hawk, Eita vs. K-ness, Dragon Kid
    6. Open the Triangle Gate Championship Match: YAMATO, BxB Hulk, Cyber Kong vs. Akira Tozawa, Shingo Takagi, Uhaa Nation
    7. Open the Dream Gate Championship Match: Masato Yoshino vs. Naruki Doi
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jesus this card is stacked. Four incredible title matches, a Millenials 8-man with U-T and the DTU boys Flamita & Rocky Lobo, the DTU guys, Nese, Shimizu, & Millenials make their big show debuts, etc.

Looks like The Former Super Shenlong III: Yosuke Watanabe is part of the Millenials now:

Watanabe told the Millenials he had something he wanted to tell them. He said he was shocked at the growth shown by Yuta Tanaka since returning from Mexico. He wanted to fight alongside his dear friend Eita Kobayashi. he asked U-T to allow him to join the Millenials. He was actually talking to T-Hawk, who quickly corrected him. He told Watanabe he had a great body that could be used for learning strong lucha. More importantly, Watanabe was a part of his generation, therefore he was an ally. Everyone born before 1990 was an enemy. They agreed to fight together, and eliminate their enemies. CIMA & Gamma were inspired by this scene, and also applied for Millenials entry. Unfortunately for them, their birthdates were quickly revealed to be 1977 & 1973, respectively. They were denied. They apologized for taking up everyones' time.

Also, CIMA got in a car accident:

While driving in his hometown of Sakai in Osaka, CIMA was involved in a rear-end collision. He had to suddenl hit his brakes, prompting the other motorist to do the same. The collision caused considerable damage to his Lexus CT, but none of the people involved were injured. CIMA said the impact was similar to receiving a power bomb. Because he was a pro wrestler, it was only natural that his car was destroyed while he escaped unscathed.

CIMA was involved in an accident back in 2002 where his front tire exploded, causing him to crash through the front of a ramen shop. That event was dubbed the "Tope Suicida to the Ramen Shop".

No match order set for Power Struggle yet. I would expect another match added, probably a bunch of juniors in a multi man for the pre show (I don't see Kendrick, Baretta, BUSHI, etc), and there is a serious lack of Yujiro.

Good to see some singles matches in the mix on the Korakuen show, which looks good.

Honma/Shibata and Tanahashi/Ishii on the undercard of Power Struggle? TAKE ALL MY MONEY!

Around 2:24 is KENTA vs Nakajima. Match isn't that long, maybe 18-20 minutes, really good as expected, and a celebration that needs to be seen post match.

This is the new rage in pirating, the new google drive gimmick, click & play, link won't last forever though. Didn't watch anything else, although 2, 5, 7 look mildly interesting.

            Review here:

With New Japan in the midst of a renaissance and having possibly the greatest in ring year of any promotion ever, and the WWE having an absolutely tremendous year in the ring as well, it's pretty easy to overlook another promotion having a fantastic 2013. Dragon Gate.

Awesome show. Dragon Gate introduces an exotico gimmick.

Osaka crowd takes a giant shit on Naito, which helps kill the next match, then shits on Naito again during the Dome hype at the end of the show. Tepid boo'ing, which is worse than all out boo'ing, because it means most of the people don't even care enough to boo.

New Japan Pro Wrestling rolled into Osaka's Bodymaker Colosseum for NJPW "Power Struggle" featuring a loaded lineup of singles matches that would help continue to set the scene for January's Tokyo Dome event, plus two very intriguing tag team title matches.

Yuji Nagata won the NOAH Global League.

This means he'll challenge KENTA at some point for the GHC Title, which is intriguing due to the shoot lesson he gave the little shit in that tag a few years ago.

                        6. Millenials vs. Jimmys 6 vs. 2 Handicap Match: T-Hawk, Eita, U-T, Yosuke♡Santa Maria, Flamita, Rocky Lobo (11:47 No Contest due to Jimmys Interference) Jimmy Kagetora, Mr. Quu Quu Tanizaki Naoki Toyonaka Dolphin
                        6b. T-Hawk{W}, Eita, U-T, Yosuke♡Santa Maria, Flamita, Rocky Lobo (10:51 Night Ride) Jimmy Kagetora, Mr. Quu Quu Tanizaki Naoki Toyonaka Dolphin, Genki Horiguchi H.A.Gee.Mee!!, Jimmy Susumu, Ryo "Jimmy" Saito, Jimmy Kanda{L}

Susumu, Tozawa, & Yoshino had a brief exchange after the opener. Susumu said he wasn't defeated in the key hunting match, he was simply beaten to the key by T-Hawk. Therefore, he still considered himself in contention for the Dream Gate. Tozawa said he also had no plans on giving up on the belt. He still hoped to have a match with Yoshino. Yoshino, always the fighting champion, welcomed the challenge from either one of them.

Hulk complained about being stuck in another lame midcard match. He took exception to Tozawa & Susumu still having Dream Gate aspirations. If anyone was going to challenge Yoshino it was him. Tozawa & Susumu came out, and all three bickered until Yoshino appeared. He essentially said the same thing he said earlier. He welcomed the challenge from any of them.

CIMA vs. CIBA was added as a special bonus match after intermission. CIMA had some harsh words for him afterwards. He told him his generation peers were main eventing tonight, and he didn't even have a scheduled match. Not even a dark match. While this was called a bonus match, he wondered this one or the main event was the match that fans truly considered to be a bonus. He challenged CIBA & Ryotsu to make themselves worthy of carrying the Dragon Gate banner in the future.

The rest of the Jimmys appeared in combat mode paint to save Tanizaki & Kagetora. The main was restarted into a 12 person tag match.

YAMATO & Doi interrupted the Millenials victory party after the main. YAMATO told Eita he was a terrible public speaker, and reminded him of how badly he beat him back in Sambo Hall. Doi belittled T-Hawk for being unable to beat Yoshino just three days after Doi dealt a severe amount of damage to him in Osaka. They quickly cut to the chase, they wanted a Twin Gate shot. All sides agreed, so GM Yagi made the match for a date to be decided later.

The meaning of the hold Yosuke♡ won with is rather lewd. M Jigaikyaku is a pose common in pornography where the legs are spread & bent into the shape of an M. I couldn't come up with a decent way to express it in English without it being overly long so I stuck with the Japanese. Do an image search for M字開脚 if you want to see not safe for work examples.

                          - Masato Tanaka & Yujiro Takahashi

                          Block B:
                          - Tetsuya Naito & La Sombra

                          - Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows

Gallows is the newest member of Bullet Club, and personally I think he is going to kill it in New Japan. He is the perfect fit.

You mentioned on Twitter but Anderson & Gallows does look like the perfect team to come out on top. Everyone else doesn't really need it or already has a match at Dome.

Other possibilities are Makabe & Honma (but it looks like Makabe vs Fale at Dome potentially), Yujiro & Tanaka, Conway & Dane. But i'll stick with Anderson & Gallows.

I don't know where Suzuki fits in at Dome. Maybe a big name outsider.

I'd quite enjoy Yujiro and Tanaka dominating. The Aliance to End NaitoMania as a nickname perhaps.

Conway & Dane would be cool but they are already made with the belts, do they really need this?
