End of an era. Props to Chile. They have to win against the Dutch if they want to avoid playing Brazil.

Looking forward to Mexico vs Croatia.

      Shit.

Heels/Anthony. USA was actually pretty shit. But that's ok. Because Ghana was just as shit. The difference being. Ghana was dumb. The one time they tried attacking and flowing football, they scored. Everything else all game from Them was shooting from 25 out of dumb crosses. The problem the USA had and Bradley in particular, was that Beckerman fantastic do anything else other than play in Bradley's best position. Beckerman and Jones are the same player. I think their biggest strength and hope going forward is to play a 3 man midfield. KB, JJ, and MB in the middle with Clint in the hole. A draw with Portugal will do them just fine I think.

Brazil Mexico. I actually thought Mexico did pretty damn well. Ochoa obviously saved their ass, but Mexico took it to em, and played a nice game. Nice and physical too.

Spain. Nobody is frightened of Spain anymore. People figure might as well press the shit out of them. And Spain never had the defense to cope with any team really having a go at them. Once the pressing got to Spain. It was over. Not to mention I still think half the team hates the other half. End of an era no doubt. Tiki Taka might just be dead.

LVG impressing. No its ands and buts, dude can coach.

Tim Cahill. Have yourself a fucking goal son! What a hit.

      Suarez = so nasty.

Which leads to England. Boy oh boy England. Lol. Lets be honest. That back line was always just delaying the inevitable. The goals given up by them so far have been funny. Funny horrible. The team for shatevr reason though, whey four years, just never gels.

Japan and the ivory coast, making me look like a complete genius on here. Thanks guys. Columbia without Falcao has been pretty fucking good so far.

And lastly the refs. Pretty bad so far. Oddly enough, the MLS ref has done well in his games. Don't know what it means, but that can't be good can it?

This is the first that I've gotten to see Argentina this cup, and their creativity and ball control among even their lesser players reminds me of what little hope that the US has.

Messi bails out Tina. It looked like Iran was going to pull off the impossible.

They should have. That tackle happens by Iran and it's PK, regardless of where the ref is.

Ghana & Germany tie so the U.S. can advance with a win tomorrow. A loss and they'll be playing for their lives against a motivated Germany next week.

Really enjoyed Germany/Ghana. Ghana looked like the Ghana that I expected against the US. I really hope that Portugal goes 0-3, just because they annoy me.

Watching post-cap, Ruud van Nistelrooy has some next level five o'clock shadow.

The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

                          Ouch. That's a miserable tie.

Yedlin was a superstar for my Red Bulls franchise in Fifa 14, cool to see him make a play in the WC.

Now, they gotta go beat/tie to advance.

Gutted but a result is still good. If Ghana Portugal draw the match vs Germany is irrelevant.

If the impossible happens we'll play Algeria most likely instead of Belgium.

That end was tough to swallow, but we played better than I thought we would have. Really kept the pressure on them the whole game, which was a lot different than Ghana. I hope the clubbing Germany gives us isn't the last match for the US team.
