Press Conference to Announce GSP's Plans Set for Friday

    Translated from French...

The mixed martial arts fighter Georges St-Pierre expected to unveil its intentions regarding its future, and, on Friday.

The 32-year-old then meet with the media in Quebec, at a press conference and claimed that his agent has revealed TVA Sports, will announce what is coming for him in the coming months.

Retirement? Repos? Resume training in a not so distant future? The options are many.

On November 16, after his controversial win face Johny Hendricks, St-Pierre said he was hanging up his gloves "at least for a moment."

Since then, several rumors have circulated about Quebecers, but he said that everything was fine. He took a vacation and has recently taught Brazilian jiu-jitsu at Tristar Gym.

If he doesn't take an extended break or retire, he should be fighting Hendricks in the spring.

I hope he retires. Nothing left to prove to anyone.

Loved the Nordiques sweater he was rocking during the presser.

He didn't retire.... so he will go away for a bit and then hand pick another "comeback" fight.

                Agreed.

If he truly doesn't have it in him anymore and can't muster the motivation to fight, he doesn't owe anybody shit. Not the fans, not Hendricks, and least of all not Dana White.

UFC PPV business for 2014 is looking murky.

With GSP gone for the foreseeable future, we have Hendricks/Lawler/MacDonald/Condit/Brown as the top of the chain.

Don't sign Askren yet because of some pissing contest, though.

He has more charisma than just about anybody on their roster.

That's one division and Hendricks/Lawler can deliver more exciting fights than GSP has in the past 5 years or more.

No one wants to see Askren.

He hasn't proved that he can finish top lvl guys or that hes the p4p best. Not knocking GSP, but it's not like hes accomplished everything there is.
