The "Chase" was completely stupid to begin with, this just makes it the most laughable thing in motorsports. I thought the new double points rule for the final race of the 2014 F1 schedule was pretty dumb, but that doesn't even compare to this.

If they want to improve the sport its real simple stop with the 1.5 mile tracks Kansas, Chicagoland, Kentucky, Texas, Charlotte, California, and Michigan. More short tracks and road courses. And for the love of god get rid of The Chase.

I don't hate the Chase and like how it was set up with the 10 guys + 2 WCs, but this new system is an absolute disaster.

The new setup will make it more exciting, the Chase was already a drastic change from the old system so I'm fine with it. Homestead isn't exciting so I hope NASCAR looks at changing the Chase schedule, hopefully throwing in a road course too.

Yes absolutely they need a road course in the chase.
