The best WWE promo since the pipebomb

I have mixed feelings on this interview. I don't deny for a second Ziggler is a great talent, but whatever happened to having at least a bit of humility? At least CM Punk was humble enough to make cracks about others and WWE ice cream bars during his tirade. All Dolph could talk about was Dolph. While I agree he has gotten a raw deal, maybe part of it is him thinking he's absolutely perfect without a flaw. If I was a boss, that would rub me the wrong way. I don't deny for a second that all great talents have huge egos, but there has to be a bit of humility too.

Nope, don't change a thing. His best line of that, and it was ALL good, was "Everything I do is to become better, the BEST....EVER!" That's perfection because it melds the whole thing together. It's him thinking he can chase greatness if ever given the opportunity, and being irate that he isn't. It perfectly brings together the character of Ziggler and the real-life struggle of Nick Nameth. He might not have a ton of time with these head injuries to play ball with Vince and all his "douchebag, glad-handing 'yes' men". It's perfect. The yelling, W2B? Makes it that much better. It's like people see this, they get it, and they want to nit-pick it. This may be, ironically, as close to greatness as Ziggler ever gets and it's being fed up at not being able to be as successful as he can. LAYERS!

I really wanna hear how some of the great all-time promos think about this. Obviously Foley and Austin, but even Dusty or Jake.

Yeah, i'm with you, the screaming is what makes it stand apart.

And i'm not sure what dave is going on about in terms of acknowledging others. I don't even know what that means. Does he expect the guy (whose gimmick is that he's cocky, no less) to cut a promo saying "I'm kind of good, but i'm second tier at best!"?
