    WWE Network impressions

It's not exactly as advertised, some ways for the better, some for worse:

-Not every PPV is available at the jump. For example, go to WCW 1983, and Starrcade is not there. WWE 1987 only has Survivor Series. WWE 2001 only has four events, etc. So there is a sizable chunk missing.

-Two old territories are in the schedule rotation, ECW Hardcore TV, & World Class. Welp, they picked two good ones. It looks like after episodes air, they add them to the archives, because there is only one World Class ep available for VOD, and zero ECW (as I type this).

-Live stream was showing the Bret vs Shawn "Face Off" DVD when I logged on. You can start from the beginning, or jump on live.

-"Old School" appears to be old MSG shows in full. FUCK YEAH! Four available right now, from 1975-1991. There is a 1981 show with Bob Backlund vs Stan Hansen in a cage that is getting watched by this guy immediately...oh wait, "PROBLEM LOADING FILE" message followed by a bunch of auto attempts to load, with the only way to stop it being to turn off the Roku and start over. Welp. I'll chalk that up to Day 1 issues.

-RAW Replays are 1993, 1998, 2013-2014. Smackdown is only 1999, 2012-2014. Again, it's not even every ep during those years.

-Main Event, NXT, Superstars archives are only very recent eps (as in the last two-three weeks).

-Live first run stuff: There is a pre & post for Smackdown & RAW. They don't go dark during RAW & SD, they do air things. Looks like Thursdays have Main Event, NXT, Superstars back to back to back at 7, 8, 9 (central).

-There is something called "This Week in WWE" that airs all weekend long. Looks like a wrap up show for the week. Maybe this is the SportsCenter type wrap up thing they were hinting about.

Looks like when I use my laptop, every PPV is there. On Roku, TONS are missing. This is not good.

I love the quality of the streaming and the VOD content. I did look for Great American Bash 1991 and it wasnt there as well as, like warner said, a large chunk of content.

I'm not mad that its not on there because im sure they will continue to add content to the library. I would really like to see more Raw and Smackdown episodes on there but i can live with what i have right now. I mean the real hook of this thing for me was ppv for 9.99 a month.

Was trying to watch Royal Rumble 2003 and the video seems to pause at times and doesn't play through smoothly.

Overall pretty good. Content is key here. There is no reason for WWE to not backfill everything they have in their archives and put it at our disposal. for $10 a month well worth it right now.

Watching the live broadcast of The HBK and Bret Hart thing on my PS4. Quality is once again fantastic.

On the laptop, it has all advertised content and everything works great.

On Rouk, tons of content missing, playback doesnt work, but the live stream is fine.

I'm hearing mixed reviews on all devices, except for laptops which seem fine all around.

Finally got on via my iPhone. Bret/Shawn 24/7 stream is going fine and working perfectly. Great quality as well.

I've yet to get a PPV to work on my phone through the WWE App.

As far as Joe's issue with the missing PPVs, that seems to be a Roku issue exclusively. I'm good on iPhone/WWE App for all the years mentioned. 1987 as Mania and Survivor Series, 1983 WCW has Starrcade.

Havent tried yet , Is there a trial ? If content is missing Id rather wait a bit before I spend the 60.
Best reason to have a license.

Roku is a mess, but every other device seems to have all of the content.

There is a one week free trial.

Mixed reports on copyright music content. Enter Sandman is dubbed out (this is a biggie, takes a lot away from The Sandman, since his entire appeal is the entrance). Other stuff is intact. PPV's appear to be original broadcasts, not the VHS/DVD versions.

EDIT - There is overdubbed bullshit music all over the ECW shows. This will drive me & Larry nuts.

Bret vs Shawn DVD is over. "This is NXT" is on.

Renee Young is the host. It's a recap of the past year.

Based on the schedule, there is a lot of NXT content. Seems like NXT is going to be pushed hard, which is smart.

cant log in on XBOX yet, they are having difficulties.
I cant watch the videos for some reason on my desktop
Everything is fine on my Ipad.

One thing I wanted to see is the WCW wars and how the nWo started but I dont see it.
