    Bundesliga General Discussion Thread

I'm following Ike's advice, I think a general thread will be better than a weekly one. I'll update this weekly with current schedules.

As I said in the other thread, big win for Hamburg to take them out of the bottom 3. Leverkusen have been brutal as of late, it's not looking good for Sami

      And he's gone

They've really gone off the boil and 11 points since the start of the year is awful, I get where they're coming from as they look in real danger on missing out on the CL or even Europe altogether if things stayed the same but still I think they should have stuck with him till the end of the season at least. Would like to see him back at us in some capacity but I'm sure he will get a chance to manage somewhere in the not too distant future.

Augsburg pulled off a 1-0 upset on Bayern. Bayern was playing their Bside, but its still a pretty damn good thing for Augsburg to hang their hat on.

You hate to say it, but given their form over the last few weeks, the match against Bochum tomorrow is a MUST win for Kaiserslautern. We were in with a good chance at the promotion playoff, but we've let it slip through our fingers with losses in completely winnable matches. Unfortunately this year I think whoever gets that promotion playoff match is going to be going up against a pretty talented side from the Bundesliga.

Big set of games in the morning.

I'm really keen on Mainz/Werder, Hannover/Hamburg, and of course BVB/Bayern.

After a lackluster draw against Bochum, 1FCK managed a win against St Pauli in the 7th minuted of extra time.

We're 5 points out of the playoffs, and 6 out of automatic promotion. Likely going to be tough even to get into the playoff given our form as of late. We do have a massive DFB Pokal semifinal match against Bayern in Munich. We may have a chance if Bayern field a weak side, but even then I think we struggle.

Only team that matters in Budesliga is BAYERN.

Congrats to Koln on the promotion. They're a big enough club from a large enough city, that they need to be playing at the top level.

The city of Koln is fucking amazing by the way.

Drmic to Levekusen for 4 years, with a reported transfer fee of 6 million pounds. Great move for them I think.
