FA Cup Semi-Final Weekend 12-13th April

    Saturday April 12th
    Wigan 1-1 (2-4 pens) Arsenal

    Sunday April 13th
    Hull 5-3 Sheff Utd

With the pressure on Arsenal to win the whole thing, can Wigan claim another scalp and reach a second successive final? Can League 1 Sheffield United keep their run going all the way to the final?

So Arsenal just about get past Wigan on penalties. Fantastic effort from Wigan, they look destroyed after 90 so they did well to take it to pens. Arsenal just have no bite to their attack at all atm, I know Giroud has been poor but I don't know why Wenger didn't play Podolski upfront then instead of Sanogo, anytime I've seen him he's been awful. Had to lol at Arsenal's celebrations after. Will be rooting for United today, would be nice for young Coady to play in the final.

Asre cutting it close.... But I rarely understand why Arsene does anything these days anymore. He has basically handed the keys to Ox and said go save us.

Sadly, I didn't have much faith in Arsenal winning this match, and I won't have faith in them in the final. nice to see them there, but they need to win it to restore some faith. Its a bad combination of tanking confidence and performance, injuries, and the consequences of Wenger frugality. I mean, I'm thrilled right now that the club didn't "waste" any money in the winter window or even last summer to add some more quality depth.

Missed the this due to watching the dire Chelsea game, looks like that was a bad choice. Disappointed for United but I actually like Brucey even if he is a dirty Manc so happy for him.
