    Chase Elliott

    Let's talk about this kid.

Won in a truck at 17 last year, and now has back-to-back Nationwide wins before high school graduation on tracks he's never seen (Texas & Darlington). One of the most impressive starts to a rookie season in any level of NASCAR, ever.

Can Hendrick afford to keep him down in Nationwide after this season and carry out the presumed plan of him replacing Jeff Gordon, or should he be looking to get him into a Cup car somehow for 2015?

I just don't see how he can get a ride with Hendricks any time soon. But I will be watching his career closely.

Yeah teams have a 4-car cap, and you know Johnson, Earnhardt and Kahne aren't going anywhere. He's still really young (just graduated high school today) so let him run a couple years in Nationwide. He'll be very good and there is no need to rush him along, some team will give him a 1-race thing that teams usually do with younger talent.
