Please stop.
The only powerplay goal in Game 7 was scored by Boston.
Stop making stupid excuses because your team couldn't get the job done last year and mine did this year.
That said, I have nothing but respect for the Boston Bruins - a great team, quality organization, great fans, and I love our rivalry. Of course I always want my team to win.
My team did what your team couldn't ... get over it, Leaffan. My Twitch video link: http://www.twitch.tv/dave374000

Things I found about the Pens series:
The penguins essentially were smashing the rangers stat wise for 5/6 of the 7 games.
Rangers were rolling McDonagh/Girardi against Crosby and Stralman/Stall Against Malkin. Might be why kman was worried about Malkin more then Crosby. They weren't doing this early on in the series and when they played the matchup game it really looked like they were outdoing the penguins on that front. Comes back to my point though that the penguins really couldn't do anything outside of the top 2 lines.
The only guy worth a dam secondary scoring wise was Jokinen and then they had one random goal from Stempniak and that's it. The other goals were Malkin or Kunitz/Neal. Oh and Sutter showed up once in a while.
Crosby was definatly playing hurt.
People say this stuff about the sharks every year. Thornton and marleau can't get it done. They are too soft. They don't have what it takes. It's media BS that idiot fans get sucked into believing.
Mario Lemieux, arguably the second best hockey player of all time won 2 cups in back to back years and failed in the other 16 seasons that he played in.
Hockey is the biggest team sport of all because your star players aren't on the playing field the whole game. You don't play as a team, you don't have 4 lines chipping in, if your goalie doesn't match the opponents and if you don't capitalize on special teams then you aren't going to go all the way.
That's all there is to it. If you don't get it then you don't understand hockey.
Watching nhl network right now and they are praising pacioretti for his goal tonight even though he was set up perfectly and all the effort was done by the assist man. PAC is a big name and scored so he is getting high media praise even though the assist man is who deserves all the credit.
This is exactly what I'm talking about.Comment

They're all playing hurt and they are all rolling line match ups. Hockey fans are some of the dumbest of any sport because few truly understand the game and are quick to blame the star players and no one else.

Probably 95% of the time that puck is going over the net into the crowd because it was no where near flat on the ice.

95% of guys in the nhl score that goal.
Great talk.Comment

No they don't. There's a ton of different factors in it but when you get a puck wobbling over to you like that its not easy to score. Looks like he didn't even take a full wind up either which was smart because only a snap shot is really going to put that on net.

95% of forwards in the league should score that goal.
Sure it wasn't perfectly flat on the ice but I've seen hundreds of guys one time the shit out of bouncing pucks into empty nets. It happens all the time. Saying that it goes over the net 95% of the time is retarded. Maybe for you it does, but again, you're not in the nhl.Comment
