The Gaborik trade is paying off quite well.

Habs have to come out flying in game 3. No doubt, that was an impressive comeback win for the Bruins. They're full credit for it.
This is the answer every habs fan is giving to my relentless trolling over the past day. I also reminded all of them that was the same train of thought Detroit had in the first series. Worked well for them didn't it

Just means the Bruins can win the series at home again.

LA was retarded deep before gaborik. Doesn't help that quietly Kopitar is emerging as the playoff MVP.

10 minutes into the game and the refs are taking over with a couple bad/ticky tacky calls. Hopefully they just let them play.

Not to mention we have the worst PP left in the playoffs so id like to stay 5 v 5

Helps that he's facing a team who has gotten little rest, but Marc-Andre Fleury has been fantastic these last two games. Was the best player the Pens had last round and is doing it again right now.

PK knocked the goal off the pegs with under a minute left to go. Should have been a penalty shot. Refs too pussy to make that call.

Bruins need to show up for 3 periods in a game.

This troll material is just endless.

1st two periods were terrible. they had that push in the 3rd but had nothing left the last 2-3 minutes of the game imo.

Sadly, I kinda agree with you ... but as a Habs' fan, I'll take it. As a Raptors' fan, my team got jobbed by the refs, so I'll take the odd call in favour of my Habs.

Let's be honest, Boston-Montreal going to 7 games. This has been a great series. I definitely want my team to win, but have never really hated Boston. I like the rivalry more than I hate the rival. I know, strange.

Like I said the Bruins dug their own grave that game and didn't turn it up until the end. However Subban did this on purpose to slow the game down so Montreal wasn't running around in their own end. He thought he was being smart when really it should have cost his team. Kind of black and white here like too many men on the ice. I also didn't have much of a problem with the refs besides that and the one where Soderberg was hooked while entering the zone as he was about to split two defenders. That cost a critical scoring chance.

If Montreal is the opponent in the semi-final and we can't get past Pittsburgh I will be gutted. Beating Boston is unlikely for us but Montreal would be a 50-50 series.

I had Boston winning that series in 6games. The fact that Montreals wins have been because Boston simply hasn't came out to play is really telling and I'm hoping Boston comes back and just pounds the habs into submission. I do enjoy habs fans telling me lately how good their team is because secretly I'm laughing because the issues they were having back in the beginning of the season, middle and about 3 or 4 weeks before the playoffs started are still there. They have some of the oddest depth in terms of forwards in the league (except Lars Eller. I've been a fan of him since st. Louis drafted him) and their 5v5 play has been pretty bad. Their centerman aren't winning faceoffs and they count on powerplays quite a bit. I would even go as far as to say Subban isn't even playing all that well. They are giving him a shit ton of mins and sheltering him from the PK. His current stats are just super inflated thanks to playing on the PP 80% of the time.

montreal is capitalizing on their chances.
