One hell of a game. Lundqvist really holding up in net. Not too shabby for Quick either.

Of course, it ends on a fuck up like that.

I'm just going to watch the Doughty goal until game 2.

Eerily similar start to game 2.

Rangers up 2-0 after a period, outplayed LA and Henrik looking like a stud.

Dwight King failed to allow Lundqvist to make the save. Obvious goaltender interference.

                    Ugh.

Shoulda been on a Powerplay instead of even strength. Seemed we got some rough calls tonight but these two teams seem to be incredibly evenly matched. I still think it goes 7.

There were a bunch of blown calls for both teams. Not sure how the Rangers fare after this loss.

Pretty remarkable that LA was down 3-0 and are now up 2-0 in the Finals. They love the role of the underdog.

I can't bring myself to watch much of this series, being a Habs' fan, but I'm proud of the Rangers showing that the Eastern Conference is legit and shut the fuck up. I hate to admit it, but now I want the Rangers to win this series.
I absolutely agree the Western Conference is a better conference, but the amount of disrespect shown to the Rangers in this series is astonishing. Go Rangers.

Ughh, as much as I hate to say it, LA just deserves so much credit. It is just so incredibly difficult to beat this team. Down 2 goals twice again this time, and still manage to pull it off. Credit due. NY in a must win now. Obvious statement is obvious.

LA's help from the men in stripes is not being appreciated by Rangers fans.

                                Fuck Quick.

But honestly, the Kings are just a resilient and gritty team. Nobody gave the Rangers a chance in this series and the 3-0 hole doesn't do the Rangers justice. The series could easily be 3-0 the other way.

Whatever happens in this series (I'm still delusional that there's a chance the Rangers comeback), this has been a great season for them and losing in the finals is nothing to hang your head about. It just irks me that people only see the 3-0 hole and assume LA has beaten the Rangers with ease, when that is far from the case.
