NASCAR returns to the dirt track tonight

Inaugural winner Austin Dillon and Kyle Larson will be 2 Cup drivers in this race. Even if you don't watch the Truck Series (I don't), check this race out. Different from anything you've seen, and the driver's skills really show.

I don't know much as far as truck racing and truck drivers go so I will just be rooting for Chevy.

I haven't watched a Truck race from start-to-finish for awhile now, other than the dirt race last year. Too dominated by Toyota nowadays.

The heats are going on right now on FoxSports1.

Cool to see really old drivers like Ken Schrader come in and kick ass. The sprint car guys have a huge advantage in this race.

I didn't realize Toyota was doing that good these days but it has been more than a couple of years since I watched a truck race.

Toyota has just invested more into this series. Its still a good developmental league with younger drivers coming up but there's not that much competition from the other manufactures anymore. The only Ford team with factory support is Keselowski's team, and there is only a handful of Chevy's that have this. Dodge "left NASCAR" in 2012, but their Nationwide and Truck racecars are still legal so you will still see a few of these Zombie Dodge's on the track.
