Needs Trezelle Jenkins. 1st round pick of the Chiefs in '95. Appeared in 9 games in 3 seasons and was waived. In 2000 he couldn't even make the XFL team that drafted him.

Craig Whelihan was the subject of running jokes for years at MM. He's the worst QB i've ever seen who at least managed to start a decent amount of games.

As far as small body of work, I recall Henry Burris being awful for the Bears on a MNF game in 2002, but I'm almost positive it was his only start. But he looked completely incapable.

I believe that was his only start.

It was nice seeing some obscure guys that I remember watching for the Packers and Steelers (Limas Sweed, Ahmad Carroll).

The kickers he has on the list were truly awful. Neil O'Donoghue was terrible for the Bucs and Cards. John Lee was supposed to be the next big thing, but he was awful. Joe Danelo somehow earned a paycheck for 10 years.

The Charger QB tandem of Babe Laufenberg and, then later, Craig Whelihan were the two worst QBs I have ever seen. They had no redeeming qualities whatsoever...they were small, slow, and weak-armed.

Funny to see Roger Vick listed, because he is basically forgotten. He was a fullback at Texas A&M, and the Jets picked him in the first round. Huge bust.

A few guys on the list don't deserve it. Golden Richards was a good return man and made several big plays for the Cowboys. Jim Grabowski blew his knee out in his 2nd season and was never the same. Frank Tripucka was a good QB in the AFL for Denver. Guys like Joe Pisarcik and Norris Weese were decent back-up QBs.Two guys who I was surprised that were NOT on the list...

Krenzel while bad was at least a solid backup guy on a really bad Bears offense and he was a 6th round rookie so I won't be too harsh on him. Moreno was bad in limited action. I still remember an old Sporting News season preview touting Moreno as possibly the next big thing at QB for the Chargers. Lulz.

Jonathan Quinn was maybe the worst QB I have ever seen. Guys like Steve Stenstrom and PT Willis not making the list was surprising to me as well.

Yup. Calgary Stampeders. One of the best CFL QB's right now. He's been around 5000 yards the last 3 years.

40. Cedric Jones; defensive end; Giants; 1996-2000: New York used the No. 5 pick in the '96 draft on a man who didn't compile his first sack until his third season. A very bad player.

edit - jones had a degenerative eye disease and by the time he was in the nfl he was legally blind in one eye.

Thinking more about Quincy at 70... If Quincy is on the list you have to include Chad Hutchinson.

He signs after the 2001 season, loses out to Carter for the starting spot while playing guitar and watching sunsets, eventually gets his shot, But the only memorable thing he does is hand the ball off to Emmitt on the record breaker.

Comes into the 2003 season, Loses to Carter AGAIN, sits all year and is eventually cut in favor of #61 Drew Henson and a unknown Tony Romo.

Goes to Chicago where he has some ok games, is set to be the starter after Grossman gets hurt, has a terrible preseason, and is benched in favor of a rookie Kyle Orton, and is eventually released before the season starts.

But if he was on the list then this list would involve every Cowboys QB immediately following the Troy Aikman era that Jerry Jones put his faith in to lead this team back to the glory days.... Wow.

Holy shit at some of these.

The laundry list of Jets has me cringing. I can honestly say the Jet players listed who almost all played in the same time frame/teams is the reason I was so desperate for NFL sunday ticket when Directv offered it
I would be forced to watch these TERRIBLE Jet games while the rest of the country was watching Niners vCowboys Niners Packers Boys Steelers etc.

Good god Everett McIver and Johnny Mitchell. Those guys would make one play every 6-7 games that fooled people into thinking the lights had gone on. Suddenly 3 sacks and 3 drops would immediately follow.

56. Leeland McElroy; running back; Cardinals; 1996-97: At the '96 Draft at Madison Square Garden, McElroy was the last player in attendance to be picked. Afterward, he gave the requisite "I'll prove everybody wrong" speech. True to his word, he proved everybody with the Cardinals wrong.

That guy was a highlight reel. I recall a guy who was an NFL insider who always seemed to have some crazy inside scoop Fred Edelstein I think was his name. He was hyping Leeland up saying all these teams were interested and how many had dubbed him the next Barry. To find out what team was going to move up to draft him pay 19.95 for his insider info.

Well Freddy was all wrong as most scouts said Leeland was sensational in the open field but would fall over instantaneously when grazed. Freddy eventually got into trouble for bilking a shit ton of money from his close friends in the NFL and was outed for making up most of his stories ((even though apparently he was freinds with some higher ups)).
Apparently his Emmit Smith to Miami to join Jimmy is a done deal scoop got a bunch of complaints and started his slow unraveling.

Anyways Leeland sucked.
