And I am currently undecided on Hitman (which I will play eventually) or NHL 13 (will see reviews but with Madden I doubt I'll have time to play it right after release day)

Meh not as good as last year. Assasins Creed 3, Madden and Halo 4 are definite buys. I'm stuck whether or not i'll get Borderlins 2.

Copy/pasted a premade list, been making a few additions. And any of the older fall '12 threads would be way out of date since a bunch of games got moved from fall to winter/spring.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Borderlands 2, and (maybe) X-COM: Enemy Unknown are the only new releases that I anticipate getting the rest of the year. I'm really looking forward to March 2013 though.

I already have NSMB2, Madden 13, Halo 4 and the R&C collection pre-ordered. I will also most likely get Sleeping Dogs, RE6 and NFSMW on release. I'll get Hitman and AC3 when they are on sale down the line.

WTF man...doesnt it bother any of you that your lists are 99% sequels? doesnt anyone know how to make an original game anymore? the only game i saw on a list that wasnt at least a 2nd version was sleeping dogs. is it any wonder that games have become totally boring now

nope....Forza Horizon is something kind of new. I have never played Hitman or F1 before.

I love the rest of those games and look forward to playing them....I havent played a Halo game since 3 so I am looking forward to more master chief.

I cant get enough or a good arcard racer....nice stress relief after a long day of work.

Are you expecting anything different when next-gen consoles are just over a year away? As long as the game is good, I couldn't give a rats ass.

Not every game has to be an original title. Sequels have their place, and most of those titles are in franchises that do a good job on their games.

A game for me that I loved playing was Too Human, but it didn't sell quite well and with Square Enix having various issues, I'm not expecting a sequel but want one (and they set it up to be a trilogy)

Then you have a game like Heavy Rain, which is designed to be one and done.

It doesn't bother me. If it's a storyline I enjoy, or has feature(s) I enjoy, I am going to buy it.

idk man, i see these games and think about the fact that i have played all of them before. take any sports game and of course they are always going to be the same thing over and over...but something like halo 4 which is going to be the same game as reach, halo 3 and so on...some new additions will be added, but its still the same principle. plus its part of an over saturated genre (shooter) thats flooded with repeat games like BF and COD

take a game like AC...its like the 4th or 5th game in the series now. how many times can enzo run around doing the same high flying acrobats with breathe taking draw distance. yes i know its alot more than that, but its still the same game

stories dont fill the void (a least not for me)...take Mass Effect 3 - the game was a poorly done knock off of ME2 and the story can not save the game from the utter disappointment of the gameplay and rpg aspects of that game. it was nothing more than a add on to ME2 and was dull and boring.

if you have never played a game in a series before then i can see it being fresh, but i dont understand how people can just accept this greedy developer mentality where they just keep spewing out the same game over and over with a few tacked on new features to justify a $60 price tag. Saying its the end of a generation is garbage imo because this EA/Activision Model has been in place for this entire generation

look at that list of games this fall....where is our list of kick ass winter games for the xmas season? i guess i am in the minority, but i think you guys are settling for 2nd rate efforts and still paying the full price for it
